Vacancy: Content & Community Manager
About Acelera
Acelera is an Amsterdam-based cycling apparel and eyewear brand. We design from the rider’s perspective: clothing that performs on the bike, down to every detail, with no compromises on quality. We now sell across Europe, are growing fast and still do it with a small team. Short lines, quick decisions and plenty of room for people who take initiative.
What we’re missing: someone to build our community and bring it to life. That’s why we’re looking for a Content & Community Manager.
What you’ll do
You’re the face and voice of Acelera online. You’ll build an ambassador programme from the ground up and make sure there’s content every week that we’re proud of.
Building and managing ambassadors You work out what our ambassador programme should look like, from selection criteria to collaboration and rewards. You find riders, gravel riders and clubs that fit us, approach them and build the relationship. Then you manage them: make clear what you expect, give feedback on what they create and track the results.
Content on Instagram and TikTok You manage our channels from start to finish. You create the content calendar, shoot and edit everything yourself (mainly short-form video), write the captions and schedule it all. You look at what works, adapt and try again.
Community management You respond to comments and DMs, know the names of the people who always engage and make everyone who wears Acelera feel part of something. You come up with activities, rides and moments that bring the community together, online and offline.
What you bring
- 0 to 2 years of experience. A strong portfolio or personal account matters more than your CV.
- You create video yourself. You can film with your phone, edit in CapCut or Premiere, and understand what makes a reel or TikTok work.
- You write sharp, flawless Dutch and English.
- You’re self-directed. You’ll get guidance, not daily supervision.
- You ride yourself, or at least have a genuine connection with the sport. You need to understand what our customers are talking about.
What we offer
- A role you shape yourself. The ambassador programme doesn’t exist yet—you’ll build it.
- A market-rate salary, which we’ll determine together during the interview.
- 24 to 32 hours per week, with room to arrange your own hours.
- Work from Amsterdam, with a team that makes decisions quickly.
- Employee discount on everything we make.
- A budget for the gear you need to create great content.
