Athlete first apparel

Back to the beginning

Acelera was founded from a simple frustration: lack of quality, comfort and affordability all in one brand. We wanted to prove that this could be done differently, by making clothing without compromise.

From the start, it wasn't about trends or hype, it was about the athlete themselves. You are central to the development of our clothing.

Athlete first apparel is clothing without compromise, of high quality and continuously improved based on your experience.

Clothing made for you

Acelera is not built behind a desk. It is built on the road, fueled by conversations with cyclists who know exactly what they need. No focus groups in meeting rooms, but honest feedback from people who are in the saddle every week.

Every choice we make, from fabrics to stitching, from... fit to packaging, is tested against the same question: does this benefit the cyclist?

If the answer is no, we won't do it. It's that simple.

the three pillars

no compromises

An athlete doesn't settle for almost. Neither do we.

Athlete first

The needs of the athlete are central.

Quality

No compromises on quality. Never.

Athlete first apparel

Acelera is about one thing: putting the athlete first. That's not marketing sense. It is the reason we exist and the benchmark for everything we do.

It means that we make choices that are sometimes at odds with what is normal in the industry. That we choose honesty over hype. Clarity over mysticism. A product that speaks for itself above a logo that has to impress.

We believe that if you put the athlete first, the rest will follow.

Who we are

Acelera is Dutch brand, founded by two cyclists who were done paying too much. We are a small, driven team that operates from the Netherlands. Not an office full of suits, but a group of people who prefer to sit outside on their bikes.

We work with experienced production partners who apply the same standards as premium brands. The difference is that we don't compromise on quality to protect margins, or inflate margins to finance a brand image.

Our promise

Cycling clothing should help you, not frustrate you. It must fit, perform and be priced fairly. That's not a revolutionary idea. It's common sense. But somewhere in the cycling industry, that common sense has disappeared beneath layers of brand premiums and marketing budgets.

We'll bring it back.
